The Women’s March on Washington…
took place January 21, 2017 in Washington DC and in hundreds of cities and countries around the world, on all seven continents. Over 4.7 million people marched worldwide, and served as an opening bell to a movement that marches ever onward. Our movement is inclusive, open to everyone who supports women’s rights, civil rights, and the health, equality, and safety of all humans. It is free to join. And now we are poised to change the course of events in a troubled political climate. Join us in an effort to make 10 actions for the first 100 days! On a local level, we are dedicated to keeping you ENGAGED in our democracy by serving as a resource and communication hub for you to lean on, whether you want to run for office, call your representatives, or fight for a personal concern. We have several regional action groups throughout the state that hold meetings and can update you on actions in your area.
